[IRCA] TP 8 Aug Victoria version

Lots of carriers, some near audio, plus a few with actual audio, though didn't seem quite as interesting as yesterday morning. Things didn't really fade in until around 1230UT, and were quite erratic.

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

not like yesterday....

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

738 rhythmic pop music 1248UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

567 man talking 1154UT, faint
1035 man talking, couple of chords of music 1235UT
1116 man talking, soon faded away 1232UT
1458 man talking 1236UT, but very short lived
1503 woman talking 1230UT, but soon devolved into two stations, one sounding like a horse race, the other a slow talking man
1566 sludgy rock chording 1240UT
1593 man talking animatedly, sports? 1238UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

594 747 891 909 972 1107 1161 1197 1206 1224 1233 1278 1323 1332 1377 1476 1539 1548 1557

best wishes,

Nick
