Sad indeed. Back in the day, I heard their âequipment testâ in 1975 in Lansing, MI:

I remember during that test the station taking calls and acknowledging DXers and, I assume, Mr. Phillips, going on and on about his Bauer transmitter of which he was quite proud.
It was wonderful!
