Re: [IRCA] Norway to end FM broadcasting by 2017



According the Hakan, the NRK stuff is going to the DAB band and the private stations are still going to be using FM for at least a while. But the handwriting is on the wall, so to speak as phasing out FM is being discussed, In Norther America, radio will still be around for decades, but I would guess not as many stations. I have a wifi radio and the radio is amazing. I can listen to radio is nearly every country in the world. A lot of the European radio is FM only, but it still is very enjoyable. I can pick a country, city, and then go up or down the dial like I live there with local signals. Fun stuff.
