[IRCA] TP 5 Apr Victoria version

Definitely a bit more action today,

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

1566 HLAZ choir singing, then man leading prayers 1332UT; best on North Flag

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

738 Tahiti vocal pop music en francais 1313-16UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

1287 JOHR? two women talking, Japanese inflection, then into pop music and it faded up to this level 1154UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

594 JOAK? woman talking 1323UT; weak considering carrier strength
747 woman and man talking, Japanese inflection 1226UT
1053 Korean jammer 1243UT
1206 Yanbian judging by the off channel carrier; woman talking, very bassy so not much readability. The only other overseas audio on the band at this time was on 738, so Yanbian would be an odd visitor.
1377 vocal music and man talking, best on north Flag 1327UT.

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

567 774 891 909 972 1422 1503

best wishes,

Nick
