[IRCA] TP 9 Feb Victoria version
At first listen, I agreed with Bruce this morning....live listening
around 1500UT was pretty pathetic, but earlier....a little more
interesting, mainly DU, but a Japanese or two also.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
1116 4BC man talking, 4BC repeated jingle, 6 pips,
"4BC...news"
http://www3.telus.net/public/shallpat/listen/4BC_1116_20150209_1300.wav
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
738 Tahiti. Un homme en francais 1405UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
612 4QR? man and woman DU EE at peaks 1317-18UT
747 JOIB CC lesson theme mx followed by pips 1400UT
774 JOUB EE lessons after pips 1300UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
702 woman talking, 1318UT, not //774 which seemed NHK2, and not //612
either. NZ?
819 man talking 1316UT, DU EE inflection
891 female vocal pop mx 1340-41UT
1566 man mumbling 1510UT...so much for sunrise
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
756 792 855 882 1008 1026 1107 1179 1278 1386 1458
best wishes,
Nick
