[IRCA] TP 7 Feb Victoria version
A bit of a 4BC morning here, yet a weak mid/lower band enhancement
at sunrise too
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
not quite
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
1116 4BC. ID'd at 1300UT, 6 pips and "4-B-C. News" ID by man, but
was weak then; much stronger at 1351, 1408, 1416UT w/DU EE
teletalk. Usually had weak audio, still traces at 1522UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
the above passing through
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
612 4QR. Pretty rough, but woman talking DU EE inflection 1259UT, and
a few notes of the ABC news fanfare in the splash
747 JOIB man talking JJ inflection //774 which was still weaker 1526
and 1530UT, the last of a weak sunrise enhancement.
972 HLCA, an odd contender with mostly DU style carriers at this
time; woman and man talking 1353UT, hard to guess, but 3 and 1 pips
at 1400UT seemed to seal it. Briefly re-appeared 1514UT, man
talking, KK inflection
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
738 891 936 1566
best wishes,
Nick
