[IRCA] TP 1 Feb Victoria version

I may not have been on another planet this morning, but visiting an asteroid, perhaps. Conditions here were better than yesterday (which was not difficult), yet no one else experienced anything other than a further deterioration in conditions.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

HLAZ, yes really. Big fade up at 1511UT during female ballad followed by man in CC briefly peaking at this level 1516UT, subduing the splash. Erratic fading and up and down to quite good levels until after 1525UT

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

the above passing through

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

828 JOBB man and woman EE lessons "in Japan in February" , recognized the woman's, ah, distinctive voice. (same pair turned up with weaker strength on 774 at 1443UT)

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

774 JOUB? man talking JJ inflection, 1330UT, and almost sure it was EE lessons 1443UT
1242 JOLF? man talking, too much splash to guess at language 1516UT
1422 JORF? woman's voice, JJ inflection, sneaking through whenever the splash throttled back a bit 1514UT 1575 VoA? bits of vocal mx 1522UT, man talking a minute later; very erratic fading

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

best wishes,

Nick
