[IRCA] TP 30 Jan Victoria version
more minimalist DXing yielded the following:
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
1566 HLAZ man in CC, bits of mx, best on the N. Flag various times
1520-9UT. This showed some audio at 1640UT, woman talking, quite
weak, but bright sunshine outside then. The carrier hung on until
well after 1730UT, when even Spectran lost track of it.
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
the above passing through
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
1503 JOUK occasional bits of JJ talk by man 1505UT, ID'd earlier
w/pips on hour, and even earlier at 1418UT w/ weak talk //similarly
weak 594. Actually had weak audio for much of the rest of the hour too.
1593 CNR1 weak w/CC talk by man 1525UT, ID'd when even weaker a few
minutes earlier, but //6125
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
1386 NHK2 man talking //774 which was similarly weak at 1521UT
1422 JORF? faint mx 1522-3UT
1557 Taiwan? vocal pop mx 1530UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
747 1044 1098 1242 1278 1359 1467 1584
best wishes,
Nick
