[IRCA] TP 20 Jan Victoria version
Decidedly poorer here at sunrise compared with yesterday, but a
little earlier DX helped to soften the blow. North Flag again
seemed better at sunrise, but didn't check until later on in the
session. (note to self....)
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
1566 HLAZ lively pop style vocal mx 1548UT, this first noted with
audio as early as 1430UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
594 JOAK man in JJ 1506UT
1575 VoA, erratic fading but noted Yankee Doodle at 1500UT, peaked at
1510UT woman in SE Asian language
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
738 Tahiti man and woman in FF 1428UT
774 JOUB man in JJ 1509UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
828 JOBB woman talking 1433UT, apparently EE lessons //774
1278 unID traces of rock mx 1431UT
1557 traces of rock mx 1548UT
1593 man talking CC? 1517UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
1386
best wishes,
Nick
