[IRCA] TP 5 Jan Victoria version
As Gary noted, it was HLAZ just before sunrise...and little else.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
not this year, not yet
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
1566 HLAZ, first noted a bit of audio 1513UT, seemingly
undermodulated again, big carrier, weak audio, but gradually the
overall strength increased, eventually to this level at 1542UT, w/man
in CC and piano mx.
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
the above, passing through
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
738 Tahiti likely , vocal pip mx 1419UT, woman in possible FF at
1420UT, more like island mx at return to audibility at 1451UT
1575 VoA? man and woman talking 1527UT and 1536-7UT, but too weak for
any recognition
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
1278 1413 1593
best wishes,
Nick
