[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 1-5

Hello All,

Asian propagation wasn't anything to shout about this morning, but a moderatelyÂstable signal from 1566-HLAZ peaked at a fairÂlevel around 1548--giving me an excuse to go out in the rainy back yardÂto see how the new CC Skywave radio would hold up in wet conditions.

Like the Tecsun PL-380 model, the CC Skywave's front panel is built to survive moderate rain, and the new portable had no problems dealing withÂtypical Washington state drizzle for about 15 minutes. 1566-HLAZ's Chinese serviceÂhung aroundÂfrom around 1530-1550 but then fizzled in the drizzle. Other than this big gun Korean Asians were anemic indeed, with only 1593 managing a decent carrier here.
