[IRCA] TP 3 Dec Victoria version
It was a morning made for SDRs. The first hour or so of listening
was accounted for with 3 minutes of scanning; things were a little
more interesting after 1508UT, when HLAZ started to fade up, and a
little bit of a buzz happened on the upper band.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
not quite; HLAZ was pretty readable at times.
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
1566 HLAZ woman in CC 1514UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
747 JOIB woman talking //774 1538UT. NHK mention, then s/off anthem
and chimes 1540UT
774 JOUB woman in JJ //747 1538UT; s/off reasonably audible, though
missed call ID.
1575 VoA woman SE Asian language 1523UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
1386 NHK2 woman in JJ 1527UT //774
1557 female vocal mx 1512UT, only heard briefly.
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
1098 1314 1404 1422 1476 1494 1512....pretty eclectic mix.
best wishes,
Nick
