[IRCA] TP 14 Nov Victoria version

As Gary noted, a slipping back into the dark ages of DXing....except I get rescued a bit by Aussies here. The other thing to note is that Asiatic frequencies 774, 972 etc. were delivering strong carriers at 1230UT, but I wasn't recording then. By 1300UT, things were mostly pretty grim, and not really much recovery later.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

a distant memory

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

another memory

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

738 Tahiti, Man in FF briefly at 1431UT
828 JOBB mx at end of EE lessons; pips on hour 1300UT
1116 4BC likely; two men in DU EE, one on phone 1447UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music)

612 4QR? woman DU EE? 1447UT.702 faded down as this faded up.
702 man mumbling, DU EE inflection 1441-1446UT
774 3LO? woman talking 1414UT, seemed DU EE, might have been //612, 702 and 828, but all were at near imaginary level

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter)

846 891 909

best wishes,

Nick
