[IRCA] TP 7 Nov Victoria version
Well, I thought I had a recording...turns out that I didn't. On the
other hand, the live DXing showed some promise, with some sunrise and
post sunrise results..
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
594 JOAK weather broadcast, man in JJ, 1455UT
747 JOIB man in JJ 1456UT
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
774 JOUB man in JJ //747 1453UT; still there, though weakly, at
1536UT, but heard the entire music box s/off from 1540UT, weak but
steady signal.
1287 JOHR two men in JJ, o/bassy music 1605UT, back for a reprise 1613UT (!)
1566 HLAZ man in CC 1610UT, briefly.
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
972 HLCA man in KK 1606 UT, one hour after local sunrise.
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
828 JOBB 1457UT woman in JJ //774
891 JOHK light instrumental mx //594 1449UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary" audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
1242
best wishes,
Nick
