[IRCA] TP 24 Oct Victoria version
DU all the way today. Extreme minimalist DXing dug out some
interesting stuff after 1400UT
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
not quite THAT good
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
612 4QR two men talking 1409UT
774 3LO man and woman talking //612 1411UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
702 2BL countryish ballad, 1407UT //612
738 Tahiti likely, pop mx 1401UT
828 3GI man in DU EE //612, but lagging slightly, 1419UT
873 man talking to woman on phone, DU EE, couple of phrase snuck
through "21 days" "OK then" etc. 1425UT. 2GB?
1116 4BC likely, man talking DU EE, woman on phone 1416UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music)
747 4QS very weak ballad, then man talking //612 1410UT
756 R. NZ National man talking //819 at similar strength 1409UT;
only Zedders noted.
846 man talking, could have been DU EE, 1422UT
954 ? man talking, DU EE inflection 1418UT
1098 man talking DU EE inflection1410UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter)
882 909 1008 1026 1152 1233 1287
best wishes,
Nick
