Re: [IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 10-18

Richard and Nigel,

Considering the propagation challenges that both of you face so far inland (especially during this generally lackluster Asian season), I think thatÂyour TP resultsÂso far have been about the best that anyone could hope for at those extreme distances. Excellent propagation is very rare this season, and it doesn't stick around for very long.

In comparison to last year, everyone here on the coast seems to have experienced a drop off in Asian signals,Âboth in strength and variety. We are all in the same boat,Âsearching without success for the kind of Asian signals that we heard 3 or 4 years ago :-)

ÂÂ ÂI can sympathise Richard, as the Asians have been virtually
completely absent here this week also, including this morning. Â ÂDid
have some New Zealand reception earlier in the week, and a nice Âclear
reception of a Nevada DOT station on 1610 yesterday, so I guess it's a
matter of making the best of what the ionosphere has to offer.
