Hello All,
Asian results here were almost identical to those reported by Dennis, except there was no appearance from 567-JOIK in the heavy 570 Seattle splatter (and a lot more signal from 972-HLCA). Several big gun Japanese and Korean TP's did manage good audio during brief moments here this morning, but in general the final morning of a lackluster September was pretty lackluster.
At the 1300 start of the session here only a couple of big gun NHK stations were managing decent audio, as 594-JOAK and 693-JOAB rose in and out of the noise with fair to good signals in the predawn darkness. These were joined occasionally by 747-JOIB, 774-JOUB and 828-JOBB with poor audio during the 1310-1330 period, while all the Koreans except for the 1053-Jammer stayed down in the noise. 594-JOAK hit a good peak around 1325, and the fair appearance of 1377-CNRI (noted by Dennis) and 1575-VOA started around this time. Very late in sunrise enhancement 972-HLCA (which had been missing in action for almost the entire session) rose up dramatically around 1350 to reach a very good audio level with Korean female speech, becoming the best Asian signal in a generally mediocre morning. Except for the poor to fair 1377-CNR1 signal late in sunrise enhancement all of the TP audio was limited to the Japanese and Korean big guns, and even these diehards only managed decent audio for very brief periods. Overall the Asian propagation for this month of September has probably been the dreariest for the past 7 years.
594 JOAK Tokyo, Japan Good level Japanese female speech during brief peak at 1326
