Hello All,
The Asian improvement noted by Bruce and the 738 signal noted by Colin were also observed here, but with a few other signals that seemed to flounder during a lackluster sunrise enhancement.
In total darkness around 1300 the usual Japanese and Korean big guns on 594, 747, 774, 828, 972, 1053 and 1566 were in and out with fair to good signals, but there were also weak but promising signals on 603 (Chinese), 657-Pyongyang, 738-BEL2, 936 (Chinese), and 1044-CRI. These weak signals went nowhere during the increasing daylight, though, and by 1340 most of them had dropped into the noise. The propagation peak seemed to be during the predawn darkness around 1300, and the only vibrant audio after sunrise was from the regular diehards 747-JOIB (around 1325), 972-HLCA (at 1310) and the 1053-Jammer (in and out from 1340-1350). Even though the weaker signals got no sunrise enhancement boost there was at least a little more variety in the Asian signals this morning-- a distinct improvement over the past three days. Best signal of the morning was from the Korean big gun 972-HLCA, with male-female Korean conversation at a very good level around 1333.
972 HLCA Dangjin, S. Korea Strong Korean group conversation at 1310; best Asian signal of the session
