No doubt about it....that morning was worth missing. If it wasn't
that the recording started at 1200UT, there would have been no audio
at all, and precious few carriers.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
all together now...."not even the remotest possibility!"
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or
noise):
presumably slightly less remote
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
No, really.
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
594 JOAK woman talking, JJ inflection, NHK pips at 1200UT
702 woman and man talking, DU EE? 1251UT
747 JOIB NHK pips at 1200UT
774 3LO ABC pips at 1200UT
1053 KK jammer 1205UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
612 738 792 828 891 972
best wishes,
Nick
