972-HLCA had similar signals here around that time, Nick, but it had difficulty breaking free of "Freedom 970" splatter from Portland. Many Portland stations are daytimers here, and "The Fan 750" and "Freedom 970" cause major headaches for JOIB and HLCA at times.

Strictly Asia today, big guns only, though some got a bit stronger
after 1300UT.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
not today
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
747 JOIB EE lessons among the splash 1321UT //774 and quite a bit
stronger, one woman's EE seemed heavily JJ accented
828 JOBB jazzy mz, man in JJ 1315UT, noted also man in JJ 1238UT
972 HLCA country mx....maybe the male vocalist was in KK 1316-7UT,
couldn't recognize any EE words

noise could be understood by a native speaker:

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
594 JOAK? woman talking, JJ inflection 1158UT
1053 KK jammer 1237UT
1287 JOHR? man talking, JJ inflection 1151UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
738 873 (big carrier; dead air?) 891 909 954 1134 1179
