[IRCA] TP 4 Sep Victoria version
Almost all Asia, all the time this morning, and pretty much the usual
suspects, generally louder than yesterday, with some interesting carriers.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
774 JOUB woman in JJ 1135UT
1566 HLAZ pop sounding vocals 1141UT followed by woman in CC. The
JJ program barely equaled this at the 1230UT s/on, and a couple of
times after that.
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
747 JOIB woman in JJ //774 1139UT
972 HLCA female pop vocal, western style 1135UT
1053 KK jammer 1304UT
1287 JOHR man in JJ 1143UT
1575 VoA. "from Washington, this is VoA news" 1230UT, after dead air;
also VoA IDs at 1300UT, but not in EE that time.
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
all of the above, passing through
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
828 JOBB woman in JJ //774 1140UT
1098 woman and man talking, too much splash to guess at language
1116 man talking, maybe DU EE, 1143UT
1134 KBS woman in KK //972 1234UT
1251 unID. woman talking 1137UT... CC?
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
567 612 864 873 936 945 1008 1143 1242 1269 1323 1503
best wishes,
Nick
