[IRCA] TP 13 Aug Victoria version
An OK morning, Asia to start, a bit of DU to finish, but nothing
really exciting.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
not today
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
1566 HLAZ man in CC 1205UT, really didn't get much of a better signal
than this with the switch over to the Japanese program at 1230UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
972 HLCA man in KK 1233UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
738 Tahiti? pop mx 1252UT
774 JOUB? man talking 1127-30UT, JJ inflection
828 JOBB sounded like EE lessons 1245UT
1053 KK jammer 1204UT
1503 two men talking, sounded DU EE 1253UT, maybe R. Sport?
1548 4QD? woman talking, DU EE? 1240UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
819 891 936 1008 1098 1269 1287 1458
best wishes,
Nick
