[IRCA] TP 8 Aug Victoria version

No Tahiti today, but a number of Asians. Pretty early in the season for them .

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

it's not July, but....

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

1566 came close

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

747 JOIB distinctive EE woman, she has built in sweep tones, useful for DX tests; 1225UT, //774
774 JOUB EE lessons, 1219, 1228UT, paralleled w/828 and 747 a couple of times
972 HLCA? man talking 1155UT, could have been KK, but weak; faded up to this strength w/male vocal mx a minute later. 1566 HLAZ first sign at 1230UT w/"FEBC" ID by man and "What a Friend I Have in Jesus" piano

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

594 JOAK? man talking, JJ inflection 1218UT
828 JOBB woman talking, weak but //774 1212UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

576 756 891 1008 1053 1287

best wishes,

Nick
