[IRCA] TP 6 Aug Victoria version
Mostly Asian audios again today, still brief and weak. Compared with
last year at this time, Asians have been heard more frequently.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
it's not July, but....
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
not today
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
it wasn't that good a morning....
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
738 Tahiti? traces of island vocal mx 1238UT
747 JOIB EE lessons per woman's singsong voice that really cuts
through the crud
972 HLCA? man talking 1138UT, pretty weak, might be KK
1287 JOHR? man talking 1119UT JJ?
1566 HLAZ a few bars of "What a Friend I Have in Jesus" crept through
the murk 1230UT, and returned several times. A woman had been heard
talking briefly at 1116UT, but too weak for language
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
567 774 891 1017 (Tonga carrier left on? pretty strong at times, but
no audio) 1053 1098 1107 1116
best wishes,
Nick
