[IRCA] TP 28 July Victoria version
Pretty much Zed this morning....and mostly carriers at that, but a
couple of wonderfully odd tentatives, and discovery of another audio
archive online.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
hey, it's July, and it's inland
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
738 presumably Tahiti with island vocals 1150UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
the above passing through
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
882 Southern Star, laid back vocal mx //909 1220UT
909 Southern Star...the other half of the equation at 1220UT
1107 Radio Live??? man mumbling in the murk 1224 and 1228UT, sure
sounded similar to the interview about the Commonwealth Games on
Radio Live's audio archive, discovered this evening: "7 day catch
up" http://www.radiolive.co.nz/Audio.aspx
1251 man talking, could be DU EE?? 1237UT, given the other carriers
and audios, I'd suspect R. Rhema. Crazy propagation; no other
overseas audio at this time, and not even much in the way of carriers
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
819 828 1008 1026 1053 1116 1143 1287 1476 1566
best wishes,
Nick
