[IRCA] TP 23 Apr. Victoria version

It might have been a reasonable morning on the coast. Lots of carriers today, both DU and Asiatic apparently, and extreme minimalist DXing dragged out a number of mostly weak audios.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

nope

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

1566 HLAZ. Woman in JJ 1231UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

972 HLCA. Man in KK 1234UT, woman talking, another man on the phone also.

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

738 Tahiti? Woman talking, FF inflection 1136UT
702 2BL? Man and woman talking, DU EE inflection 1215UT
774 JOUB/ 3LO?? Woman talking, sounded like EE lessons, but man talking at same time seemed to be another station, 1220UT
882 unID. Man talking, DU EE?, then slow mx 1308UT
1053 KK jammer 1217UT
1134 JOQR? man talking quickly 1233UT, couldn't really guess language, but had the hopped up feel of commercial Japanese.
1287 JOHR? Man and woman talking, JJ inflection? 1247UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

 567 675 747 756 828 891 909 954 1008 1098 1179 1323

best wishes,

Nick
