Asians were down noticeably today, but a few of the Alaskans did quite well.

GOOD
670    KDLG, tentative, BBC news good atop KBOI 1310
780   KNOM, guitar music, "KNOM in Nome, it's 5 o'clock" at 1300, into 
ABC news o/KKOH
850    KICY, 1151 man in Russian way atop KHHO/KOA, gradually weakened, 
but still good 1158 with Russian woman closing out the show, then the 
usual KICY780
 English ID 1200

FAIR
750    KFQD, jingle ID & CBS news 1200 u/KXTG
972    HLCA briefly rose up to reasonable level 1256 with 2 men in 
Korean, otherwise poor-nil
1566    HLAZ, mostly poor today but had fair signal at various times, 
such as 1244 1252 1329 etc.
1575    VOA, the usual English IDs 1330, Yankee Doodle, then woman in 
Khmer.  Still producing weak talk 1340

POOR
594    JOAK, 3+1 pips 1300, weak woman talking 1302
693    JOAB, time pips 1300, then very weak talk mostly covered by CBU 
splatter
747    JOIB, language lesson 1238, quite poor but I recognized the 
woman's voice
981    CNR1, Chinese woman in CKNW splat 1327
