[IRCA] TP 1 Apr. Victoria version

There was a tiny enhancement here after 1330UT, at least on a couple of regulars, otherwise a very pedestrian morning indeed.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

1566 HLAZ. JJ talk 1243 and 1332UT; interestingly still an audible signal at 1418UT with a woman sounding like she was in CC; bright sunshine outside.

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

828 JOBB. CC lessons, going over syllabic sounds, very much like the product of digestive upset. This might be a fun language for young over-exuberant children to learn.
972 HLCA. Man in KK 1336UT, woman agreeing

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

1575 VoA. Woman in SE Asian language 1303; thought I heard a VoA mention at 1300UT, when it was weaker. Also pretty good with man in Khmer? at 1334UT, "This program has come to you from Voice of America, Washington" had been heard at 1330UT then "Voice of America in Khmer" repeated, so I'll take their word for it.

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

594 JOAK? man, JJ sounding? various times, never amounted to much
774 JOUB. Sounded like EE lessons by man and woman 1306UT; where did the wx report go?
1053 KK jammer 1303UT
1206 Yanbian? Man talking 1143UT, could have been KK; pretty weak, benefiting from 1200 Vancouver being on OC

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

864 1008 1044 1188 1323 1377 1593

best wishes,

Nick
