[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 3-23

Hello All,

Asian signals continued to slide into mediocrity this morning, with decent audio limited to a few big guns. Whereas yesterday featured some vibrant NHK1 stations on the low band, this morning they stayed at an anemic level like everyone else.

The high point of the mediocre morning was around 1340, when the usual regulars 594-JOAK (fair), 693-JOAB (fair), 972-HLCA (good) and 1575-VOA (fair) were joined by a collection of ghostly low-band Asian mainland stations on 603, 648 and 657. 603 had a poor-level mix of HLSA and China, but neither station seemed to have much interest in sticking around. 648-VOR reached a poor level briefly with its Chinese service at 1343, only to fall back into the noise a few minutes later. 657-Pyongyang's orchestral music barely made it through the domestic splatter at 1345. 972-HLCA managed a few good peaks around 1350 with its bizarre singing practice program, but seemed to fall off of a cliff with the other Asians around 1400. With the exception of 1575-VOA's fair peaks from 1340-1350 the high band didn't fare much better, with 1377-CNR1, 1503-JOUK, 1566-HLAZ and 1593-CNR1 all managing poor audio at best. Overall it was a pretty dreary morning, with all of the Asians long gone by 1405.

73 and Good DX,
