Re: [IRCA] 700 XEDKR Guadalajara gets out well for 1kw

Yes, KHSE has been tearing up WLW here at night right through sunrise. Though I've caught KHSE before, I've never heard them for so many nights so consistently. Something seems out of whack, so perhaps it might offer a good chance for others to try and nab them who haven't already. I've noted them in Spanish too every time. They were an Asian format if I remember correctly.

I just want to caution everyone that Mexican mx on 700 isn't automatically XEDKR. Last night's midnight recording has Mexican mx o/u WLW and at times slopping XEN 690!. It turned out to be from KHSE which I've noted in Spanish recently.

These guys are listed as 10 kW days at Cantu's site. On the few mornings that I've managed to drag up DU audio here in WI/IL during the past couple of seasons they've been more of a QRM problem to Sydney 702 than has WLW which is reduced by daylight and antenna. 73 KAZ

Within an hour of logging 580 XEMU MEXICO Piedras Negras and 800 XEROK Ciudad Juarez in the wee hours of Feb 27, I have a third new Mexican IDed. 700 XEDKR Guadalajara. Nuevo Amanecer program reference matches Radio Red’s schedule. I see from reports found online that it's been heard in Europe and Tim Tromp reported it "booming in" to West Michigan earlier that morning. So hard to believe it’s only 1000 watts as I've seen listed. A few more clips to go 620 and 1090. This pipeline to Mexico lasted a few hours, soon it gave way to stuff more to the south, like Cuba.

I'll post a full log from this session as soon as I sort a few more things out.
