Conditions today were, in many respects, much like the past few days.
Unlike some recent days, there was a very pronounced sunrise enhancement
that lasted from about 1435 to 1450. HLAZ-1566 was the big standout
today, with a nice signal for several minutes. Otherwise, there were
lots of carriers at the high end, many with weak audio, and almost
nothing at the low end of the dial.
Good - A native speaker would have understood most of it for brief periods
1566 HLAZ, woman in Chinese 1440-1453, mostly poor-nil otherwise
Fair - A native speaker would have understood a few words
Nobody
Poor - Recognizable program content
747 JOIB, woman/man 1254, language lesson
774 JOUB, Man in Japanese 1151
972 Faint bits of talk/music 1248 & 1327
1332 Music briefly audible 1446
1422 Music/talk 1445
1503 Woman talking 1451, not sure of language but probably JOUK
1557 Bits of audio, sounded like music 1442. Carrier almost as
strong as 1566 but audio was weaker and there was more splatter
1575 Reasonably decent carrier but very weak audio 1446
1593 Talk poking through the KLFE splatter 1443, not sure if CNR or NHK
1602 Woman/man talking 1442, much 1600 splatter
Carriers 1314 1323 1404 1413 1431
