This morning, despite the high A-index was a very good morning in Grayland, WA for Asia. Sunrise enhancement started about 1430utc and hung in there until past 1600utc with a few stations, like 972-Korea providing audio past 1730utc — 2.5 hours after sunrise. That’s not unheard of but not expected during a solar cycle maximum and on the tail end of two days of very high A-indexes.
