[IRCA] TP 18 Feb, Victoria version

A quiet morning, in that there weren't a lot of carriers, but many of those that were there produced audio at one point or another, but still, nothing very strong. Sunrise enhancement was 1566 and a bit of 603, but not spectacularly.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

not today

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

972 HLCA likely, flute mx fading down somewhat to woman in KK 1320-1
1566 HLAZ man in JJ 1332UT; but also later w/ man and woman in CC 1504UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

603 HLSA? soft mx 1454UT, fading down to man talking and syncopated pips on hour, fading back up to soft mx after the hour
828 JOBB woman in JJ 1421UT, no parallels right then
1287 JOHR woman in JJ 1305UT
1323 CRI, bit of an outlier, with tail end of chimes and fanfare and CC ID by man and woman 1300UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

738 Tahiti? man talking FF inflection 1308UT
747 JOIB pips at 1400,but weak; a little stronger by 1407UT w/talk // possibly w/ even weaker 774.
774 JOUB? EE lessons ? 1325UT
1116 4BC? man talking, DU EE inflection 1321UT
1332 JOSF? man talking, JJ inflection? 1331UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

594 612 1143 1179 1242 1314 1422

best wishes,

Nick
