[IRCA] TP 14 Feb, Victoria version

Definitely livelier this morning but without too much on the upper band....barring the fact that HLAZ was still delivering definite audio at 1718UT. In general, the sunrise enhancement hung around a little longer (to a lot, see 972 and 1314 also) this morning.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

774 JOUB man in JJ 1523UT
972 HLCA woman in KK 1502UT (still noted weakly w/male talk at 1704UT)
1566 HLAZ CC talk by man 1527UT (had also been very good at 1258UT w/man in JJ, and as mentioned, its last hurrah was a woman in recognizable CC at 1718UT when it pretty much faded for good (ran the recording to 1800UT)

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

567 JOIK presumed woman and man in JJ 1306UT; 594 pretty much MIA this morning
738 Tahiti presumed man and woman in FF
828 JOBB man w/wx report 1305UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

603 HLSA? laid back androgynous vocal mx 1311UT
747 JOIB man w/wx 1308UT //774 and better strength just then
873 JOGB flute mx, pips 1300UT, lively mx followed //774
1053 KK jammer 1307UT
1287 JOHR men in JJ o/mx 1508UT
1314 JOUF likely, woman in JJ 1506UT; this was still showing bits of audio at 1702UT, male talk, but really couldn't tell language by then
1323 CRI presumed, woman and man in RR 1528UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

612 4QR? man talking sounding DU EE 1355UT
702 NHK2 presumed w/ NHK pips 1300UT, not much else
891 JOHK man talking JJ inflection //594 1507UT
1242 JOLF? woman talking JJ inflection 1508UT
1575 VoA? man talking SE Asian language? 1337UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

819 846 864 954 1008 1017 1098 1134 1143 1179 1332 1422

best wishes,

Nick
