[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 2-11

Hello All,

Asian propagation was similar to yesterday's in that a good variety of TP's managed audio on both the low and high bands, although very energetic signals were sparse. Once again the Japanese were well represented, with another unusually good signal from 1134-JOQR.

The session started at 1430 with several low band Asians already having fair audio in and out, including 594-JOAK, 603-China (no HLSA early on), 693-JOAB and a presumed 738-BEL2. Around this time both 972-HLCA and 1134-JOQR were also in and out with good audio, although the high band seemed pretty anemic except for fair signals from 1323-CRI and 1287-JOHR. Sunrise enhancement around 1500 was fairly decent on the low band as 603-HLSA joined China at a fair level, and both 648-VOR and 657-Pyongyang rose up out of the domestic splatter to manage weak audio. The Chinese audio on 738 (presumed BEL-2) also maintained a fair level in the KCBS splatter at this time, and the Japanese big guns on 747 and 828 were in and out of the noise as well. 972-HLCA and 1134-JOQR continued their good signals with the increasing daylight, and the high band also started showing some energy with 1566-HLAZ hitting a very good peak with its Chinese service at 1505, and 1575-VOA managing a fair level w!
ith Asiatic language at 1510. 1503-JOUK was strong enough (fair) to confirm the 594 // around 1508, and 1593-CNR1 was able to rise up out of the 1590-Seattle splatter to reach a weak level prior to a general band collapse around 1515. Although the variety of Asian signals was very good this morning, only 972-HLCA (good at 1455), 1134-JOQR (good at 1450) and 1566-HLAZ (very good at 1505) sounded very energetic. The great majority of the TP's stayed at weak levels, fighting a tough battle with domestic splatter.
