[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 2-9

Hello All,

Like Dennis I enjoyed some nice Asian propagation on both the low and high band this morning, although (as usual) with fewer Japanese signals than in Kalama. There were a few more Asian mainland stations showing up on the low band here, however (also as usual). 972-HLCA and 1575-VOA both had pretty impressive signals.

My session started off at 1440 in the frozen back yard, with 3 inches of snow to make things interesting. 1575-VOA already had a very potent signal by this time, and was far and away the strongest Asian on the band at that time. 1503-JOUK (good) and 1566-HLAZ (good) also had vibrant signals on the high band prior to the 1500 TOH, although 1593-CNR1 was weaker than usual. Prior to 1500 the low band Asians were still pretty anemic, with only 594-JOAK (very good) having much energy. The low band Asians got a boost with the increasing sunlight around 1505, however, and included 558-HLQH (fair in 560 splatter at 1507), 594-JOAK (very good at 1510), 603-HLSA (fair at 1505, without China), 648-VOR (fair at 1511) and 657-Pyongyang (poor-fair at 1515). 972-HLCA was also having some very good peaks around this time, and 1575-VOA was keeping up its energetic performance. Asian signals collapsed here pretty dramatically at 1520, though, with both audio and carriers dropping down into th!
e noise suddenly. 972-HLCA and 1575-VOA were the stars of the morning here, both with potent signals in and out of the domestic splatter.
