I got my wish. It was apretty poor morning, but a little minimalist
DXing yielded the following. As Bruce said, back to yesterday's
recording, but not until tonight....some yard work needs doing.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
774 JOUB barely made it to this level briefly, 1526UT w/ man in JJ,
only overseas audio on the band at this time
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
the above passing through
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
738 Tahiti man in FF 1301UT
828 JOBB woman in JJ 1346UT
972 HLCA woman in KK 1410UT, pop mx 1427UT, a couple of other instances
1566 HLAZ woman in JJ 1302UT, and during JJ s/off 1344UT. The CC
program never quite reached this level, though close at 1545UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
639 CNR1? woman talking, 1523UT, sounded CC?
873 JOGB woman talking //774 1426UT
1575 ? woman talking 1547UT, likely VoA?
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
594 747 891 981 1287 1503
best wishes,
Nick
