Listened from 1520-1550 utc. A late short lesson this morning. Conditions down from yesterday. Station heard under VOA 1575 with female speaker. Only two long channels with audio. Again no NHK2 powerhouse stations heard. Yesterday's top dog JORF 1422 was a no show this morning.

648     RUSSIA, 1527 weak signal with man in Asian language. NW ewe. 01/22/2014
1314   JAPAN, Osaka, JOUF Radio Osaka Obc 1531 weak signal with man in Japanese. NW ewe.01/22/2018

1323   CHINA, Huadian, 1532 assuming the station with very weak audio. NW ewe.  01/22//2014

1503   JAPAN, Akita, JOUK NHK1 1534 weak signal with man in Japanese. NW ewe. 01/22//2014

1566   REPUBLIC OF KOREA, Cheju, HLAZ FEBC 1520 excellent signal Christian Pop song in Englsih.  NW ewe. 01/22/2014

1575   THAILAND, Rasom, VOA 1524 weak signal with Asian language. 1535 Fair signal over another station with female speaker. NW ewe. 01/22/201

1593   CHINA, Changzhou CNR1 1539 very weak with bits of audio heard. NW ewe. Heavy KOHI splatter. 01/22/2014
