[IRCA] TP DX in Seattle for Sunday January 19

TP conditions today were similar to yesterday. There was a mild enhancement just after sunrise, which lifted a few signals out of the mud for a few minutes. Most of them were weak and unintelligible, but 1332 was coming in well for a while. Otherwise, it was a rather routine morning here.

Good - mostly understandable by a native speaker
1566 HLAZ Japanese service 1324-1345, signal dropped off significantly after pattern change for Chinese program
1575 VOA, English ID 1429, pause, then start of Burmese program 1430

Fair - a few words and phrases would be understood by a native speaker
1332 JOSF, animated woman and man in Japanese 1538
1593 CNR, 1540 big signal but KLFE-1590 splatter was even bigger

Poor - mostly unintelligible
774 JOUB, 1453 weak talk
1278 weak talk 1538, sounded Japanese
1305 weak talk 1533, mostly or all male
1314 male talk 1533
1404 very faint talk 1538
1413 bits of talk and music 1529, single tone marking BoH 1530
1422 woman talking 1528, too weak to ID language

Carriers
