Sorry for the even later than usual submission; much of the day was
spent getting the antenna support properly repaired while we had
little wind, so everything else took a back seat.
I was definitely listening on another planet this morning from Gary
and Dennis. 1593 had a lackluster signal, even if it did hang
around, barely, until 1600UT
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
not today
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
567 JOIK faint western pop vocal 1449UT, then man in JJ 1450UT,
maxing about 1456UT; no 594 or 1503 for parallels, though 594 finally
poked its nose out at 1458UT for a parallel
1566 HLAZ man in CC 1438UT; very little sunrise peak this morning
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
774 JOUB man in JJ 1513UT, woman speaking less frequently in EE?
1593 CNR1 man in CC, then woman //6175 1523-24UT; best on north Flag
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
594 JOAK man in JJ //567 1458UT; also noted at 1533UT
828 JOBB woman singing , pips at 1300UT, into wx broadcast //774
1278 JOFR? man talking, very briefly 1515UT, sounded like JJ
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
747 873 972 1377 1494 1503 1575
best wishes,
Nick
