Les,
The ALA1530 I sent to you is basically the same one as Guy Atkins reviewed with the Pixel Pro 1-A back in 2010 or 2011. http://www.wellbrook.uk.com/pdf/ALA1530AntennaFactorChart.pdf gives the sensitivity.
The gain is slightly higher, especially at LF and offers better performance compared to the ALA1530+ and the L version. The same loop element is used in the ALA1530S+ Imperium. See recent review http://www.wellbrook.uk.com/pdf/ALA1530S+ReviewRadioUserAugust2013.pdf

Andrew,
Your customer service is beyond outstanding, as always. Thank you for this act of unnecessary kindness.
Also, can you tell me what would be the correct way to describe the antenna upgrade that I just purchased from you? Would it be ALA-1530+, ALA-1530L, etc? I'm sure a lot of North American DX'ers are keenly interested in hearing about the latest version of this fantastic antenna!

Les,
I assumed that you may have had a mounting kit already for the ALA1530!
I will put one in the post on Monday Jan 6th.

Just replaced my aging Wellbrook ALA-1530 loop (which has been sitting in storage for three years or more) with the newer ALA-1530+. It just arrived safely from the UK, but I'm remembering that mounting this antenna can be a challenge. It isn't really equipped with a mounting bracket per se--leaving it to the individual user to engineer a solution.
I'm interested in hearing or even better, seeing photos of what solutions other users in the United States have come up with for mounting this antenna. Plan to mount it on a small TV rotor here in the backyard. All suggestions appreciated.
