I don't want to sound like a prima dona but I never reported WTTM since I don't consider an X-bander that comes in on the car rx to be DX. We're at an easy 1 hop distance to NJ from here in NE IL and they come thru WPRR/KRJO.
The early X-banders had no problems being logged coast to coast since some of them were on clear channels.
KNTS is certainly more difficult and requires an antenna system that can take out WPRR while enhancing the west... ie phased BOGs or some kind of cardioid patterned setup...ie like my current Broadside Double KAZ Array. KNTS is SS rlg and will have rlg oriented talk or more commonly SS contemporary Christian mx. They can be difficult to ID, but there's often a break several seconds after ToH when a guy in EE will say, "KNTS Seattle".
KNTS and anything else double hop from the NW States/Provinces hasn't been coming in well(still some traces at times) in late December as the second hop doesn't seem to be happening that far north whereas I am getting Tijuana on 1700 and KNX on 1070 at times from further south, however there's not much from Vancouver on 1040 and 1130 nor anything else from WA.
I think Tim Tromp last season, aided and abetted by me did log KNTS from Muskegon MI using his Phased BOG System.
