Better than yesterday, but not quite as good as what Bruce
heard. Mind you, country music in CC on HLAZ makes up for lack of DX.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
1566 HLAZ various men in CC from 1525UT following, popping up to good
strength, then not so good. Then 1536UT, woman and man in CC, then
a male singing country mx in CC, banjo, steel guitar, no fiddles though.
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
HLAZ passing through
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
1575 likely VoA, man in SE Asian language 1526UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
612 traces of bassy music 1406UT, then into pop vocal; 4QR?
738 Tahiti likely, woman speaking FF inflection 1405UT
774 woman talking 1517UT, then man
972 woman talking 1504UT
1593 CNR1? man talking, CC inflection 1351UT, no pips at 1400UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
558 594 603 891 1116 1287 1503 1584
best wishes,
Nick
