Yup, it was a pretty bad morning. Slight signals 1300-1400UT,
practically nothing 1400-1500, and not much evidence of enhancement
after 1500UT
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
no hope
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
not too likely either
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
774 JOUB woman in JJ 1342UT
972 HLCA man in KK 1507UT and 1523UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
1053 KK jammer 1344UT
1134 JOQR?? man talking rapidly, then female rock vocal 1457UT, but
gone by the hour
1503 woman talking 1528UT, somewhat insistently, then man. Could
have been JJ, but wouldn't swear on it
1566 HLAZ? woman and man, CC inflection 1358UT; the signal strength
recorder said this peaked at 1330UT (which Bruce noted), but I wasn't
running the SDR then.
1575 man talking briefly 1351UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
567 594 639 1251 1287 1323 1476
best wishes,
Nick
