Hi Nick,

The conditions were foul indeed, Nick. I did make the mistake of getting up early this morning, and found the band totally devoid of Asian audio around 1400. Rest assured that you missed absolutely nothing.
With the typical November phenomena of the Asian sunset period (0900-1100 UTC) becoming more competitive with the west coast sunrise period (1300-1500) for good TP propagation to our area, I'll probably spend more time checking out that possibility. As usual, the quality of the DX received during such bizarre hours is the primary factor in deciding whether the sacrifice of sleep is acceptable, or not.
