[IRCA] TP 1 Nov, Victoria version

Not too bad a morning, several second tier Japanese, a reasonable signal from HLSA, a couple of Queensland stations, and some post sunrise peaks culminating with very faint cuckoo pips on 1242 at 1600UT on the recording.

pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker, at least briefly):

774 JOUB CC lessons 1351UT
972 HLCA man in KK 1522UT, 20 minutes after sunrise here

Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):

594 JOAK JJ man 1522UT strengthening to slow bowed mx, vaguely orchestral w/oriental flavor 603 HLSA male ballad 1357UT, into KK talk by man and woman, chimes 1359UT into a single pip on the hour
747 JOIB EE lessons 1428UT, in fact quite a long stretch of EE but //774
828 JOBB CC lessons, man in rapid JJ 1344UT

not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or noise could be understood by a native speaker:

891 JOHK man in JJ 1401UT after pips on the hour; NHK mention
954 JOKR man and woman in JJ 1409UT //1287 w/slight delay. "JRN" is noted in latest Pacific Asian Log with JOKR as the key, but not much about who does what and when. 1287 JOHR assumed man in JJ 1527UT, pretty much as good as any other time this morning.
1323 CRI assumed, woman in RR 1428UT

Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in talk or music) :

612 4QR laid back mx, DU EE by man presumably, because a few minutes earlier was //855
837 JOQK man in JJ //594 1352UT
846 NHK1 synchros 1420UT NHK1 theme mx
855 4QO/4QB man talking 1429UT //612 and lagging by nearly a second
945 CNR1? sudden fade up 1409UT, man in CC sounding talk
945 NHK1 synchros 1420UT NHK1 theme mx
1053 the best the jammer could manage today 1354UT
1116 4BC? man talking, DU EE inflection 1352UT
1566 HLAZ assumed, man CC inflection 1523UT

Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or ravaged by splatter):

648 756 936 1044 1251

best wishes,

Nick
