Rats, I initially sent this from a different email address than the one
I'm subscribed with, so trying again...
My listening situation has deteriorated greatly in recent years due to
local noise issues, so I don't do that much DXing these days, but late
October is usually a fun time to try for SSS catches, so I did a little
listening last night. Noting some presumed old standbys like KTIC-840
and KRVN-880 under the dominants on those channels, I decided to give
1030 a try. At around 2020 EDT in a slippery WBZ null, some football
play-by-play emerged, which proved to be a college game between San Jose
and Wyoming on KTWO. The signal disappeared after 2030, which is KTWO's
October pattern change time. This was a relog, but certainly an
uncommon one. No luck with KDUN later in the evening, though!
If you're in the east and need KTWO, give 'em a try on SSS before
November rolls around...
