Even sifting through the recording didn't help. It really was just
the top tier of Asiatics plus Tahiti, some werer readable for a
reasonable period of time around 1400UT.
pretty darn good audio (all of it understandable by a native speaker,
at least briefly):
no indeed
Reasonable audio at times during the period (much of it
understandable by a native speaker, though often battling w/splash or noise):
594 JOAK man in JJ 1400UT announcing "NHK nyusu" after pips on the hour
774 JOUB CC lessons 1348UT
not so reasonable audio, occasional words or phrases in splash or
noise could be understood by a native speaker:
738 presumably Tahiti w/man in fast-paced FF 1403UT
747 JOIB EE lessons 1346UT
828 JOBB man and womn in JJ 1401UT
1053 S. Korea jamming away1358UT
Burbles in the splatter and noise (if lucky, language might be
guessed at by cadence of talk, or parallel established by changes in
talk or music) :
972 HLCA? man talking, perhaps KK inflection 1405UT
1575 man talking, too weak for language 1341UT
Strongish het, no or "near imaginary"audio (either undermodulated or
ravaged by splatter):
864 891 1566
best wishes,
Nick
