[IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 9-18

Hello All,

Asian TP's were rebounding here this morning with better signals and variety than yesterday, but there still weren't very many second-tier stations showing up. The big guns on 594, 693, 747, 774, 828, 972, 1134 and 1566 had no trouble reaching vibrant audio during peak sunrise enhancement (around 1330), and 738-BEL2 in Taiwan joined in the fun with a fairly potent signal around 1325. 558-HLQH and 603-HLSA managed good signals at times, with 603 being an all-Korean frequency until China showed up very late in the session.

A determined check for audio on some second-tier frequencies produced weak Chinese music on 1017-CRI around 1338, and weak Chinese speech on 1035-CNR1 about the same time. During 738-Taiwan's vibrant peak at 1325 a check was made on 1143-Taiwan, but it was a dud at the time. Many of the Chinese middle band stations that normally manage good signals this time of year (1017, 1035 and 1044) have been notable underperformers here this September, with very feeble audio at best. Like Nick has said, except for the big guns almost all of the good TP performers this month have been on the low band, with 603-HLSA, 639-CNR1, 648-VOR and 738-Taiwan being the standouts here. In summary, the Asians were fairly interesting this morning, and hopefully on an upward trend.
