Re: [IRCA] Puyallup, WA Ultralight TP's for 9-15

Nick,

1143-Taiwan is received here occasionally, but 1143-JOBR has never been logged. In general, Dennis tends to have a lot more upper-band Japanese reception than I do, so it's not surprising. Dennis' location seems to favor second-tier Japanese stations when conditions are good, while mine seems to favor second-tier Koreans and Chinese (especially on the low band).

On the few times that I've checked, there doesn't seem to be much correlation between a vibrant Taiwan signal on 738 and one on 1143. The low band Chinese have been pretty vibrant on 603, 639 and 738 (Taiwan) so far this new season, but pretty much of a dud on the middle and high bands here (936, 1017, 1035, 1044, 1134, 1143-Taiwan, 1377 and 1593).

73, Gary

Do you hear 1143 at all Gary? It sounds CC to me, but I'm not
hearing 738, and Dennis was hearing Kyoto on 1143, so I don't know
what's going on, presumably why I keep coming back for more, hi.

best wishes,

Nick
